These shots are from the moive Something’s Gotta Give and since it’s a Bank Holiday, I’m dreaming of being by the ocean. I LOVE Nancy Meyers movie’s since the house’s are basically starring characters. Check out a great interview with the set designer here. Photos via Material Girls (love that blog)
Check back tomorrow for more surprises….
I know it’s been quiet on the blog front but I promise we are more than making up for it in the Apothic. It’s been a crazy couple of weeks with appearances, production and getting all of the new goodies ready. Since the blog was established to give you, my fair readers, an inside glimpse at the process, I feel like I must share a little more. We are working on a huge new launch for the end of next month and I figured what place better to announce than right here. Behold our new project, Royal Apothic Bathe. A collection of bath and body products made in the finest of England’s traditions in the Royal Apothic scents you have come to love and adore. More to come!!!!
So I am completely in love with my new iPad and am amazed by what I have been doing with it. My favorite new thing has been catching up on movies that I have missed. The Netflix streaming is great, I just wish they had more options for instant viewing. One movie they do have is Herbert and Dorothy. The story of a married couple who have a passion for art was very inspiring and completely magical. Check it out if you haven’t seen it…
Check it out here.…
Many of you know that we make every batch of Royal Apothic product by hand. It’s nice to see there are other companies doing the same thing. Check out this great video from Mast Brothers Chocolate on how they make their highly addictive bars in Brooklyn. Maybe we should do a video on the making of Royal? Thoughts?

So when a friend moved home to London, we danced in a Janet Jackson flash mob as a going away gift. That was fun….but this would be even better…
ps. Homebase is the UK version of HomeGoods 🙂
